The unified brand was officially announced at the British Institute of Interior Design's 50th Anniversary event at Domus’ Battersea showroom, taking effect 1st December 2015.
The unification of the companies boasts benefits to customers that include an expanded showroom network, an extended product portfolio, and access to exclusive product launches, CPDs and events. Domus also claims that the move will allow for enhanced customer service, technical support and more competitive prices.
Notable among customer benefits is the expanded showroom network. The Surface showrooms in Battersea, Islington and Surrey will join the Domus Group. These, in addition to the two Domus showrooms in Clerkenwell and West 1, mean that architects and commercial clients can now receive the same first-rate project service and technical support at the most convenient of five locations.
Combining the forces of two strong brands will increase the group’s purchasing and manufacturing position, allowing Domus to enhance its product portfolio and deliver incredibly competitive prices together with unparalleled levels of service.
The ongoing programme of workshops, CPDs and events that coincide with some of London‘s major design festivals, including Clerkenwell Design Week and London Design Festival, will now be universally accessible.
