Taking place in Harrogate from 1st-3rd September, this year’s edition of The Flooring Show has introduced a series of new initiatives to further its success as one of the most prominent events for the UK flooring industry.
Designed by trend forecasting consultancy, Scarlet Opus, the Trends Hub will offer an insight into the future of flooring and surfaces. Visitors will find a visionary zone styled as a Workspace Laboratory, which will highlight an inspiring presentation of the latest products from exhibitors, alongside a valuable and unique preview of the major colour, texture, material and styling trends for 2014. Located on the show floor, the Trends Hub will be an ideal place to take a break, hold a meeting or catch-up on calls and emails.
The seminars will take place in the Business Enrichment Centre, and will offer inspirational talks from some prominent industry experts, including Scarlet Opus’ Victoria Redshaw, the Society of British Interior Design’s Vanessa Brady and Google’s Finlay Clark.
The highly-popular Demo Zone will also make an appearance, and will feature a varied series of relevant and practical flooring demonstrations that will take place throughout the show.
Visitors will also be able to see the latest product innovations from some of the leading names in the industry. The fast-growing exhibitor list can be found on the show’s brand-new website, which also includes further information and free registration for all elements of the event – including seminars, demonstrations, receptions and parking.
